I am thrilled to have been awarded funding from Creative Scotland through the Visual Artist and Craft Maker Awards (VACMA) to support a two week residency in April 2020 during which I plan to develop my skills and gain new approaches in drawing, to experiment with 2d and 3d components to create mixed media pieces inspired by the town of Nérac, the surrounding area, the changes in the light, architecture and culture.
Studio Faire is a contemporary art centre in South West of France, providing residencies for creative practitioners. Residents live and work in the house, studios and gardens of Studio Faire, a small mansion built around 1830.
