Teaching

Day long courses that run from 10-4:30pm. Learn how to cut glass and lead to construct a traditional leaded panel. No previous experience or equipment required and all materials included in workshop. The course includes learning to cut different types of glass, designing a small panel around A4 size and using lead and solder techniques to construct and complete your piece.

Over two intensive days create your design and make your stained glass panel. This course provides more time to focus on techniques and processes, suitable for some who has already undertaken the 'taster' or 'one day course' and would like more time to explore this fascinating craft. For dates please look at future workshop menu (under teaching section from the main menu)

Taster workshops in glass painting. These are 2.5-hour sessions where the focus is to create your own painted and framed piece of glass art. Using traditional glass paints, spend some time experimenting and mark making to create textures (the glass will then be fired in my kiln). The finished piece will need to be collected or posting arranged. Sessions lasts from 10am-12:30pm or 1:30pm- 4pm. Please highlight which session on your booking form.

If you could bring an apron or over shirt and wear warm clothes. Unfortunately, these courses are not suitable for pregnant women, due to working with glass paint.
